Working inside the box 3

As I blogged below video typically offers a lot less “wriggle room” than photography. What you see in video is often a lot closer to what was actually photographed. Photo enhancement services are widening that gap still further.

New ads for new media

Pre-roll ads annoy viewers. Contextual ads which appear on the web page beside the video don’t annoy viewers - they ignore them. This annoys advertisers.
In an effort to keep everyone happy Google has introduced overlay click-through ads to Youtube. Revenue will be shared with content creators.

Looking for a Tony Robbins link for the post below Google threw up this TED video: “Why we do what we do, and how we can do it better” Sparky interaction with Al Gore when Al (in the audience) wants to blame his defeat in 2000 on the Supreme Court. Worth watching.
