Who is Jared Polis?
Colorado is a state of extremes - from the 14,000 foot peaks of the continental divide to the rolling grasslands of the eastern plains. The temperature will often vary by 75 degrees or more in the course of a single day.
Same goes for our politicians. Take yesterday as a case in point. On the one hand we have the thuggish Douglas Bruce claiming the right to kick photographers on the floor of the Colorado House. On the other we have Jared Polis who spent the day impressing the voters of Grand County with his unique blend of charisma, commitment, confidence and compassion.
